Comparison

Best AI virtual try-on tools for ecommerce (2026)

Five tools compared on the three things that actually decide it: what the cheapest paid plan costs, what it costs per image, and what that plan does not include. Every figure was read off the vendor's own pricing page.

TinTin is one of the five, so the useful thing here is not the ordering — it is the table. There are two rows where we come last and one where we are several times more expensive than the cheapest option, and they are in the table rather than in a footnote.

All pricing read off each vendor's public pages on 24 August 2026.

Published cost per credit at entry
Credits are not equivalent units across tools — what one credit buys differs, so this row compares list prices, not value. On list price alone FASHN and Uwear are several times cheaper per credit than we are. Botika sells credits as an annual bundle, which does not reduce to a comparable per-credit figure.
Credit rollover
This row is one of two where we come last. If unused credits carrying forward matters to you, Uwear and Botika handle it better than we do.
Team seats
The other row we lose. If several people need their own login, three of these tools are built for it and we are not.

Where TinTin loses

A roundup written by one of the vendors is worth reading only if it is specific about its own gaps. These are ours, and each is a reason to pick someone else in this list:

  • Per-credit list price. FASHN at roughly $0.095 and Uwear at $0.10 are several times cheaper per credit than our $0.50 at entry. Credits buy different things on each tool so the comparison is imperfect, but on list price we are not the cheap option and we are not going to pretend the row says otherwise.
  • Credit rollover. Ours reset at month-end. Uwear's never expire, and Botika's roll over indefinitely while you are subscribed. Annual billing gives you the whole year upfront, which helps, but it is not the same thing.
  • Team seats. We do not have them. FASHN starts seats at its entry tier, WearView includes 5 on Pro, and Uwear charges no seat fees at all. A team that needs separate logins and shared workspaces should discount us accordingly.
  • A managed retouch loop. Botika publishes retouch rounds with delivery windows on its plans. If you want a human fixing renders as part of the service rather than re-rendering yourself, that is a real product difference and we do not offer it.

The tools in detail

TinTin — best for the smallest first step, and plans with nothing gated behind a tier

TinTin is ours, so treat the placement with the scepticism it deserves and check the rows rather than the ranking. The specific thing it is built around is that every paid plan is the same product — 4K, every model, video and all four studios are on the $10 tier exactly as they are on the $129 one, and the only thing that changes is how many credits you get.

It is also the smallest commitment in this group: $10 for one month, after 5 free credits with no card. The comparison that matters is not against the other tools' headline prices but against their entry tiers, because on three of the four the entry tier is a deliberately reduced product.

The part with no equivalent elsewhere in this group is Shop Radar — it checks your live listing photos daily across eight platforms and is free forever, with no plan required. There is also a public MCP server, so an AI agent can run audits and generate try-ons directly.

What its plans gate:

  • Nothing by tier. Same model, quality and speed on Starter, Studio and Pro
  • 4K costs 2 credits instead of 1, on every plan
  • Shop Radar competitor-tracking slots are the one thing that scales with the plan

Worth knowing: Monthly credits reset at month-end rather than rolling over, and there are no team seats. If either of those is central to how you work, two tools below handle it better — see where TinTin loses.

Botika — best for brands that want a managed retouch loop with a human in it

Botika is fashion-native and the most service-shaped product in this group. Its published plans include retouch rounds per photo with a stated delivery window — two rounds and two-day delivery on Pro, three rounds and one-day on Advanced — which is a genuinely different offer from pure self-serve rendering, and the reason to pick it.

The trade-off is that its cheap tier is a reduced product rather than a smaller bucket. Resolution steps HD → 2K → 4K across the three tiers, and the full model library, background options and video generation are not available on Lite at all.

What its plans gate:

  • Resolution — HD on Lite, 2K on Pro, 4K on Advanced
  • Model library — limited on Lite, full from Pro
  • Video generation — from Pro up
  • Retouch rounds — 2 on Pro, 3 on Advanced, with different delivery windows
  • Team collaboration — Advanced

Worth knowing: Credits roll over without limit while the subscription is active, which is the best rollover policy in this group — but they expire when you cancel. Its annual column showed the same figure across three tiers on the day we read it, so check the annual terms yourself before committing.

FASHN.ai — best for the strongest per-credit economics at volume, plus an API

FASHN is the price leader on paper in this group. Basic is $19/month for 200 credits, which works out around $0.095 per credit — cheaper per unit than we are by a wide margin, and top-ups are published at $0.10 per credit with a 12-month validity.

It also runs an API alongside the app and ships in eight languages, and team seats start at the entry tier (2 on Basic, rising to 10 on Agency). If your constraint is volume rather than tier features, this is the one to price out properly.

What its plans gate:

  • Generation quality — the most realistic generation is described as a Pro feature
  • Video resolution — 720p on Basic, 1080p from Pro
  • Custom face references — Agency only
  • Concurrency — 3 / 6 / 11 simultaneous generations by tier
  • Seats — 2 / 5 / 10 by tier

Worth knowing: The entry tier being cheap per credit is only half the picture: if 'most realistic generation' sits on Pro, the tier you can afford may not be the tier you evaluated. Test on Basic specifically rather than on a Pro trial.

WearView — best for the widest single toolkit, if you can start on Pro

WearView has the broadest feature surface here — try-on, model creation, consistent models, pose control, ghost mannequin, model swap and video in one product — and by far the deepest content and reference library around it.

The catch is where the line sits. Ghost mannequin, model swap, video and its premium engine all start at Pro ($40/month, 200 credits); Lite at $24/month for 50 credits runs the standard engine without them. Unlimited credit rollover is a third-tier feature at $82/month.

What its plans gate:

  • Premium AI engine — Pro and above
  • Ghost mannequin and model swap — Pro and above
  • Video — Pro (720p), Advanced (1080p)
  • Credit rollover — Advanced only
  • Seats — 5 on Pro, 15 on Advanced
  • API access — Enterprise

Worth knowing: There is no free credit allocation to test with — its published terms are a money-back guarantee rather than a trial, and a card is required to start. Budget for evaluating on a paid month.

Uwear.ai — best for buying credits outright with no subscription at all

Uwear is the only tool here with no subscription. It is published as straight pay-as-you-go at $0.10 per credit with a $17 minimum, and — the part that matters more than the rate — credits never expire and there are no seat fees.

That shape suits genuinely irregular work better than any monthly plan in this group. A seller who does one big catalogue push a quarter is paying a subscription for two idle months on every other tool here.

What its plans gate:

  • None published by tier — the pay-as-you-go rate is the product
  • Volume pricing, invoice billing and a shared workspace sit under Enterprise
  • Enterprise engagement begins with a sample report on your own garments

Worth knowing: No free trial: the published advice is to buy the $17 minimum to evaluate. And with no subscription there is no monthly allowance to fall back on, so budgeting is entirely on you.

Which one to pick

  1. If you are testing whether any of this works for your product

Start where you can produce a render on your own photo without a card — that is us (5 credits) or FASHN (10). Test on the entry tier of whatever you shortlist, not on a trial of the top tier, or you will evaluate a product you are not going to buy.

  2. If your volume is high and steady

Price it per credit and FASHN's economics are hard to argue with, provided the generation quality you tested is the quality your tier actually gets. Uwear is the other serious option here, and cheaper still if the work is lumpy rather than steady.

  3. If your work comes in bursts

Uwear's pay-as-you-go with non-expiring credits fits irregular catalogue pushes better than any monthly plan in this group, including ours. Everyone else charges you for the quiet months.

  4. If you need one cheap plan that does everything

This is the case we are built for: 4K, every model, video and all four studios on the $10 tier, because nothing is tier-gated. On Botika and WearView the equivalent capability set starts at $40 and $40 respectively.

  5. If several people need their own login

Not us. FASHN includes seats from its entry tier and WearView includes five on Pro; Uwear charges no seat fees. Come back to us when we ship seats.

  6. If you want someone else to fix the bad renders

Botika, for the published retouch rounds and delivery windows. Every other tool in this group, us included, expects you to re-render it yourself.

Common questions

What is the cheapest AI virtual try-on tool?

It depends whether you mean the cheapest way in or the cheapest per image. The lowest paid entry is Uwear at a $17 one-off with no subscription, then TinTin at $10/month, FASHN at $19 and WearView at $24. Per credit at entry, FASHN (~$0.095) and Uwear ($0.10) are the cheapest by a clear margin — see the table, which states our own figure alongside them.

Which AI try-on tools let me test without a credit card?

As published on 24 August 2026: TinTin gives 5 credits with no card, FASHN gives 10. WearView's published terms are a money-back guarantee rather than free credits and require a card. Uwear has no trial and suggests the $17 minimum to evaluate. Botika advertises a trial without publishing its terms.

Why do cheap AI try-on plans produce worse results?

On several tools they are not the same product, and this is the single thing most worth checking before you buy. Botika steps resolution across tiers (HD → 2K → 4K) and holds its full model library and video above Lite; WearView puts its premium engine, ghost mannequin and model swap on Pro and above; FASHN describes its most realistic generation as a Pro feature. If you evaluate on a top-tier trial and then subscribe to the entry tier, you have not tested what you bought.

Do any of these tools monitor my live listing photos?

Only one, as far as we can see from public pages: Shop Radar checks published listing photos daily across eight platforms and is free with no plan required. None of the other four documents anything equivalent — they are all generation tools rather than monitoring tools. See Shop Radar.

Can I drive AI try-on from an AI agent like Claude or ChatGPT?

TinTin publishes an MCP server for exactly that — free store audits without an account, generation with an API key. FASHN, WearView and Uwear publish REST APIs, which an agent can use with glue code, but we could not find a documented MCP server for any of them.

How do I compare credits between these tools?

Carefully, because a credit is not a standard unit. On each tool, work out what one finished image of the kind you actually need costs — including the surcharge for 4K or video where there is one — rather than dividing the plan price by the credit count. Two tools with the same per-credit price can differ by 2× on a real job.

How we compared these

  • Every price, credit count and gated feature was read off that vendor's own public pricing page on 24 August 2026. No aggregator or review-site figures.
  • Where a vendor's page was ambiguous we say so rather than picking the reading that suits us. Botika's annual column showed an identical figure across three tiers on the day we read it, which is almost certainly a rendering artefact — so we cite its monthly prices and its tier gating and leave the annual terms for you to check.
  • Cost-per-credit is a list-price comparison only. A credit buys different things on each tool, so work out the cost of one finished image of the kind you need before you decide.
  • We list the rows we lose. Two of the nine rows in the table put TinTin last, and one puts us at roughly five times the cheapest per-credit price.
